The tour starts in the old town of Rovinj where you will meet up with your local guide. From here, you will drive outside the town. The area is ideal for biking, the terrain is not too flat nor too hilly, and it meets every cyclist’s wishes for an interesting trip. In contrast to the busy streets of the old town, the hinterland of Rovinj is calm and idyllic. You will see typical small-scale farming, drive through vineyards and olive groves. We will take time to explore the area, especially an interesting hill called Moncodogna which bears traces from an Illyrian settlement, several thousand years ago. From the hilltop, you can admire a fantastic view of Rovinj to the sea. We will make a stop at a local agritourism farm where we will enjoy some refreshments and local food. We will take you back to Rovinj, along the beautiful trail near the sea (DISTANCE: 25 km. DURATION: 4-5 hours).
