The ultimative EX-Yugoslavian travel experience
Are you one of those people who always dreamt of doing a Balkan tour ? Well, we have good news for you - since we ourselves are in love with this region and its history and beauty we made this ultimative EX-Yugoslavia trip. It will take you from north to the south and east to west, through six countries with a pace that gives you time to admire each place and feeling the atmosphere without having to rush to the next sight. You will not only see the places worth visiting but also hear the stories to be told about the Slavic people, their origin, their language and culture. Of course - Josip Broz Tito will steel a part of the picture since he was the one who gathered the former six republics and keept them under one roof for the rest of his life. You will get to see the capitals of the former Yugoslav republics but also the corners less known, walk in the footsteps of Tito and witness the places of the 20th century political scenes. Everything with a touch of local flavours, handpicked local food and ingredients, a taste of a true multicultural kitchen.

Day 1
Zagreb - the capital of Croatia
pinZagreb | Croatia
Arrival at the airport of Zagreb. We will arrange a pickup transfer at the airport and transport to your hotel in the centre of town. Depending on your schedule, you might have time after check-in to take a walk. The city of Zagreb lies beneath the slopes of the mountain Medvednica and most parts of the inner city are within walking distance although the town has a well organised public transport system with busses and trams. The lower town was planned in detail in the mid of the 19th century and makes up a combination of green parks and beautiful buildings. In the evening, at dinner time, we will have a group gathering in a local restaurant and get to know each other. The best way to get to know a new place is through its culinary traditions. Overnight at the hotel.
