You will have a private transfer to Fažana, a coastal town on the Istrian west coast. From the ferry will take us to the island of Veli Brijun, the biggest of thirteen islands. Upon arrival, you will get a bicycle and we will start our tour of the island. The landscape is mostly flat with relatively few elevations. The beauty of nature and relaxed atmosphere together with the Roman Empire ruins will take you off your shoes. We will drive through the safari park where many different species can be seen, especially typical domestic animals from Istria. We will visit the shore by foot to explore dinosaur footprints on the beach. If weather allows, there will be free time for swimming. We will complete the tour with a visit to the museum, where most history of the Islands is shown. An extensive photo exhibition of the post-war period is really worth a visit with emphasizes on the Yugoslav president Josip Broz Tito who spend a lot of his time in this place. There will be a snack break during the tour. We return to Fažana with the ferry boat and have a private transfer back to our starting point. (Activity length: 8-10 km. Activity duration: 4-5 hours).
