First, you will visit Grožnjan - the artist town - where you will find a gallery almost in every house. If there is any place you can feel like time stands still, it is definitely here. The houses and cobbled streets are witnesses of the past. From Grožnjan to Motovun, you will see the Mirna River valley, many hundred years ago the main transportation route between the Republic of Venice and the town of Motovun, which is the next place we will visit. The only town in Istria with its city walls well-kept and from where we will enjoy the amazing view overlooking the valley all the way to the highest mountain top of Istria - Učka Mountain. The tour ends at a family-run place where you will taste the most renowned truffle specialties of this region and get a truffle hunting demonstration before we return to our starting.
